Few Words About Us

Purple Dog Technologies was opened by Thomas with a purpose in mind to provide and website, media and online development services locally and internationally. We have clients based all over South Africa, Hong Kong, Australia and soon to have in London.

We have been designing and developing websites (and honing our skills) since the year 2000 and we have over 24 years experience offering a wide range of services to numerous clients over the years.

We provide excellent quality websites and applications to suite your needs and budget. Our aim is to cater for all types of websites and applications from personal blogs, small businesses to corporate intranets and portals, any website or idea you need we can design, develop, advertise and maintain it for you.

Start of our business

Thomas Coskey, has been tinkering with computers and programming since he was at school way back when, before even Google was started (in 1995). It was in the year 2000 when he was doing his internship at MTN (courtesy of a bursary from the Nelson Mandela Foundation) in JHB that he got involved developing websites and has been doing it ever since, each year learning new technologies and getting really good at PHP programming. So far he has developed in a number of languages including PHP, HTML CSS, JavaScript, Node, Perl, Python, VB etc. He saw in the market that people wanted a personalised service and that’s where Mr Robot differs from other companies. To Purple Dog, your company is not a number but instead a partner where we help your company grow its online experience.

Our aim is to be effective and efficient with all facets of our customers – organisations, businesses, local communities – and the Internet user. We hope to ensure that IT solutions are affordable to all spectrums within the working world.

Our mission is to provide an attractive range of Internet advertising with developing websites, media design and online communications so enabling our clients to publish and market their businesses and organisation and ensure they establish an Internet presence. We will achieve this by optimum use of Internet technology, multiple cross-linking and for optimum exposure, driven by our professionalism, enthusiasm, creativity and personalised service.
